Commercial Kitchens

Commercial Kitchen Construction in the Tri-Cities

A kitchen is the hardest room in a food business to get right. Hoods, gas, grease lines, drains, power for every piece of equipment, and an inspection schedule that decides your opening day. Pelican builds and remodels commercial kitchens across Kennewick, Richland and Pasco, and we keep you in the loop the whole way.

What we build

New kitchen build-outs in existing spaces, full remodels of working kitchens, and kitchens inside new commercial buildings. If you're opening or upgrading a food business in Kennewick, Richland or Pasco, we can build it.

We recently completed kitchen work for Ahava Coffee and are wrapping up a kitchen project at Desert Bluffs Casino. Ask us about either one when you call.

How a kitchen build works with Pelican

  1. Walk the space. We look at what's there now: power, gas, drains, venting and the layout you want. You get a straight answer on what it will take.
  2. Plans & permits. We work with you and your designer on the plans, pull the permits, and line up the reviews a food business needs before it opens.
  3. Build-out. One team and one point of contact for the hood, plumbing, electrical, finishes and equipment rough-ins.
  4. Inspections & close-out. We coordinate inspections, finish the punch list, and hand you a kitchen that's ready to cook.

Why owners hire us for kitchens

Licensed, bonded and insured in Washington. Every week a kitchen sits unfinished is a week without sales, so we plan the schedule around your opening day and tell you early if anything threatens it.

Remodeling a home kitchen instead? Commercial work is our focus, but we take on residential kitchen remodels too.

FAQ

How much does a commercial kitchen cost in the Tri-Cities?
It depends on the size of the space, the equipment layout, and how much ventilation, plumbing and electrical work it needs. We don't publish a one-size price because it would be wrong for most kitchens. Call for a free estimate and we'll give you a real number for your space.
Can you build out a kitchen in an existing building?
Yes. Most kitchen work is inside existing spaces: turning a retail or office suite into a restaurant or coffee shop, or remodeling a kitchen that's already there.
Do you handle permits and inspections?
Yes. We manage the building permit and coordinate inspections, and we work with you and your designer on the plans the health district needs to see before a food business opens.
Do you do residential kitchens too?
Yes. Commercial work is our focus, but we also remodel home kitchens. Call and tell us about your project.
